Delegate Sales Executive

Salary: £28,000-£32,000 basic, depending on experience
OTE: £10,000+ uncapped commission
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Central London - office-based five days per week

The opportunity

An established international events business is looking for a Sales Executive to secure delegates for its in-person and digital events.

You will engage prospective attendees through telephone, email and social media, building an understanding of each event's content to communicate its value effectively. You will also maintain accurate customer and sales activity records within the company's CRM.

This is a fast-paced position suited to a quick learner who is comfortable working towards deadlines and sales targets. The successful candidate will be hardworking, determined and confident communicating over the telephone. You should be equally comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Previous experience in sales, customer service or customer experience is preferred, alongside familiarity with CRM systems.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual sales targets across multiple event projects.

• Maintain high daily call volumes and prospect engagement levels.

• Manage new and existing customers, creating a consistent volume of sales opportunities.

• Proactively qualify, grow and maintain an account list.

• Build effective relationships with prospective delegates through consultative communication.

• Provide regular performance updates to your line manager.

• Share relevant sales and market intelligence with colleagues.

• Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.

• Maintain high professional standards, including punctuality and written communication.

• Attend in-person events across the UK and internationally, as well as supporting virtual events.
