Accountancy Practice Lead - Must Have Start-Up Experience

📍 Location: London - Office-based, 5 days per week
⏰ Hours: 37.5 hrs, Mon-Fri (09:00-17:30)
💷 Salary: £170,000-£180,000 + Equity

We are a growing Corporate Services Group supporting over 500,000 customers with company formation, legal, and business services. Our mission is to help UK businesses start, grow, and succeed.

We are launching a new accountancy practice, and we are looking for an experienced accountant to shape and manage this function from the ground up, working closely with the CEO.

The Role

As Accountancy Practice Lead, you will:

• Develop and manage the accountancy service offering for SMEs ✅

• Build and nurture a high-performing team of accountants 👩‍💼👨‍💼

• Identify opportunities to expand services and support client growth 📈

• Ensure operations are accurate, compliant, and scalable ⚡

• Oversee client onboarding and service delivery via Xero and cloud-based systems ☁️

This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to influence the growth of the practice and the wider business.

Who You Are

• ACA, ACCA, or FCCA qualified accountant ✔️

• Experienced in medium-sized accountancy practices (not Big Four/high street)

• Skilled in building, managing, or scaling an accountancy practice

• Commercially aware with experience advising clients 💡

• Able to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
