🎯 The Opportunity
This role focuses on relationship-based selling for educational B2B conferences in the energy and infrastructure space. You'll work closely with industry professionals - many at senior or executive level - helping them understand which events best support their goals.

You'll be a knowledgeable and approachable point of contact, guiding people through the full sales process for conference attendance and sponsorships via professional telephone conversations 📞

Candidates must have direct experience selling conference attendance and/or sponsorships. Experience within educational conferences is required, and energy-industry conference experience is strongly preferred.

✨ What You'll Be Doing
🌱 Identifying and nurturing long-term client relationships
🎤 Presenting the value of conferences and sponsorships clearly over the telephone
📈 Managing the full sales cycle, from outreach to close
🔍 Learning about industry topics and sharing insights with clients
🤝 Representing the organization at conferences across the U.S.

🧠 What We're Looking For
✅ Proven experience selling conference attendance and/or sponsorships
✅ Direct experience in the educational conference business (required)
✅ Energy-industry conference experience (preferred)
✅ 1-3 years' experience in B2B sales, marketing, or conference/event sales
✅ Clear written and verbal communication skills
✅ Persistence, resilience, and follow-through
✅ Comfort working in a busy environment
✅ Internet and social-media savvy
✅ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
