Data Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000

Location: London / Hybrid working

A global leading consultancy is now looking for a Data Engineer to join and become part of their exciting growth plans.

Working in their specialist data science team, this role will involve utilising a wide range of techniques with Python and ETL pipelines, helping build out media insight and product capabilities.

About the role

• Analysing ETL pipelines, as well as building, testing, and maintaining data structures / data pipeline architectures.
• Creating algorithms to turn data into digestible information, identifying ways to improve data quality.
• Overseeing and implementing improvements in software components and developing subsequent performance.
• Chance to explore and work with a range of tools / software / platforms including Python, R , Azure, Pandas library, to name a few.

About the candidate

• Expert hands-on experience with using python / python development.
• Strong working knowledge of using Pandas library (or similar) and cloud storage (AWS or GCP).
• Understanding of integration and delivery (CI/CD) with python applications.
