The Company

An membership body that promotes sustainability and greater circularity in the extraction, processing and use of natural resources and technical materials are looking for a Graduate Researcher to join their Policy team.

The Policy team manage a number of communities made up of experts from fields such as engineering, sustainability and environment. As a member of the policy team who will be responsible for carrying out research within these communities in order to inform new policies within the industry.

This is a great opportunity for a graduate who has developed research skills during their studies or has a completed a relevant degree to the subject matter.

The Role

• Support on the delivery of the community objectives including production of content, events, professional development and policy.
• Work with the communication and PR team to ensure all community activity is communicated to members.
• Maintain an awareness of policy issues relating to materials, mining and minerals.
• Organising Community meetings when necessary.
• Support the communication of policy activity.

The Candidate

• A technical science, engineering or environmental background in a discipline related to materials, minerals and mining
• Very good written communication skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to pick up complex information and quickly synthesis key points
• Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent IT skills
