Exciting opportunity for a senior research and insight specialist to join this organisation, to head up their Research & Insight team. Working in the wider Marketing and Communications area of the business, this is a pivotal hire for the business as they look to focus their attention on taking a more holistic approach across all Marketing & Communication areas and drive forward advanced insight projects and plans.

They are now looking to bring on board a Head of Research to join their business to help to drive brand growth.

The Role
The overall purpose of the role is to represent the voice of the customer, supporting the Heads of Departments with all of their insight requirements and leading insight for the organisation.

- You will be responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the Charity's research strategy in the UK, working alongside colleagues in the US as well as the UK, including the Head of External Affairs and the Head of Marketing.
- Developing and managing research projects with external research agencies, including identifying new potential suppliers to work with
- Managing a team of researchers, helping them to grow and develop
- Actively seek out opportunities for greater quality and efficiency in research methods, approaches, and delivery
- Be a key influencer in the business, showcasing how research & insight can drive forward the brand
- Presenting internally to the Senior Leadership Team and presenting at external events to raise the brand profile

The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will be a strong research practitioner, ideally having worked for both a research agency and clientside
- You will have experience working with charities or social impact research, with a proven track record in delivering both quantitative and qualitative research
- Ability to identify and use insights to drive brand growth
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident presenter
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
