Our client is a B2B events organiser in Hong Kong and they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to work closely with the Event Director on the growth and expansion of Hong Kong's most sustainable development event. This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in one of Asia's most influential sustainability business events in Hong Kong.

The Role

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing and past exhibitors and sponsors while also identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will own key commercial relationships, renew and upsell sponsorship and exhibition packages, ensure delivery of all contracted benefits, and develop long-term partnerships that support the continued success of the event.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and secure exhibitors and sponsors across corporates, green tech startups, consulting firms, NGOs, and government bodies
  • Sell tailored exhibition spaces, sponsorship packages, and innovative branding opportunities
  • Own and manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, accurately forecasting revenue and managing the full sales cycle
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Collaborate with the conference programming team to identify and secure speaking opportunities for key partners
  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and content teams to ensure seamless delivery of sponsor and exhibitor commitments
  • Provide clear reporting on pipeline performance, revenue forecasts, and account risks

Candidate Profile

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or sponsorship sales, ideally within events, media or sustainability related sectors.
  • Proven ability to build and manage senior client relationships
  • Confident cold caller with strong commercial communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and pitching abilities
  • Passionate about Hong Kong and committed to advancing sustainable development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an advantage
