SPONSORSHIP SALES ROLE

This company is an international research organisation and the focal point for financial risk professionals to advance through renowned thought leadership, knowledge sharing, unparalleled networking, industry solutions and lead generation.

The successful applicant will work closely with our Conference Producers to launch and scale events, influence event strategy and feed high levels of market intelligence back into the campaign.

This sponsorship sales candidate needs to be hands-on, enthusiastic, determined and flexible, with a strong work ethic.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders - marketing, production, operations etc
  • Develop new business form cold on launch events
  • Grow revenue from existing accounts, increasing both average spending and frequency of spend across the portfolio
  • Lead by example in activity, reporting and pipelines, including the use and maintenance of Salesforce as a CRM
  • Manage existing sponsors to deliver above expectations and then secure re-book/follow-on revenue

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years selling high value sponsorship packages in the events world
  • Proven record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver revenue on new products
  • Salesforce experience required
  • KPI & target driven
  • Adaptable
  • Excellent telephone manners and confidence
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of clients at all levels.
  • A desire to develop themselves and others as a sales professional
  • A desire to dramatically increase their earning potential.
