Global Account Manager - Food & Beverage
Location: London (Remote-first)
Travel: 30-50% global travel (US, UK, Europe, Australia)
Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 + package
Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
We are seeking an experienced Global Account Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of the organisation's most strategic international customer relationships within the food and beverage industry. This role is responsible for translating brand strategy into measurable commercial outcomes across key global markets, with a strong focus on premium foodservice and distribution-led growth.
Operating at a global level, you will own complex, multi-market accounts, drive branded menu placements, lead joint business planning, and ensure commercial governance across regions. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring deep sector knowledge, commercial discipline, and credibility with distributors, chefs, and foodservice groups.
This role is open only to candidates with proven experience in the food & beverage industry (ideally premium foodservice, protein, or closely related categories).
Global Account Ownership & Brand Execution
Own and develop strategic global customer and distributor relationships across priority markets
Secure and manage branded menu placements across multi-site foodservice groups and flagship venues
Ensure brand positioning is consistently reflected in customer execution, menus, and activations
Sales Planning & Joint Business Planning
Develop and deliver annual and quarterly account plans covering targets, pricing, mix, activation, and trade spend
Lead Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with distributors and key customers, including promotional calendars and innovation trials
Forecasting & Commercial Accuracy
Build bottom-up forecasts by market, channel, and product mix to support S&OP and demand planning
Translate brand initiatives into clear sell-in and sell-through forecasts, ensuring inventory alignment
Customer Marketing & Demand Generation
Partner with brand and marketing teams on account-specific campaigns, events, and chef collaborations
Support customer-led marketing activity across digital, live events, and menu-led storytelling
Cross-Functional & Distributor Management
Work closely with regional sales leaders to align global strategy with local execution
Manage multiple distributors per market, ensuring route-to-market effectiveness, pricing governance, and service levels
Partner with Legal on contracts, distribution agreements, and compliance
Commercial Governance
Own price, mix, and trade spend within agreed thresholds
Ensure all commercial activity delivers measurable ROI and supports long-term brand value
10+ years' experience in global or key account management within food & beverage (premium foodservice, protein, or adjacent categories essential)
Proven success managing distributors and multi-country customer accounts
Strong track record of securing branded menu placements and delivering revenue, margin, and mix growth
Experience working with forecasting, S&OP, and supply-constrained portfolios
Commercially rigorous with strong understanding of pricing, trade spend, and multi-market P&L drivers
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related discipline
Additional languages beneficial
Comfortable with 30-50% international travel
Strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder management capability
Clear, credible communicator able to influence across regions and functions
Able to simplify complex commercial information for internal and external audiences
