Aspire is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to join a Retail client's team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to ensure a perfect on-brand experience across all regions and channels. This role will serve as the driving force behind strategic marketing initiatives and the marketing organisation within the central head office.
The Head of Marketing will play a critical role in ensuring successful product launches and continuous improvement of marketing and communication across the business. This will contribute significantly to maximising the brand image and driving sales development.
The role requires developing and implementing the brand's marketing strategy, overseeing multiple projects, and ensuring excellence within the team and marketing initiatives. The candidate must think out of the box, integrating experience with insightful findings using marketing insights and consumer behaviour.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the brand's marketing strategy, continuously seeking improvements and new opportunities by analysing trends, consumer behaviour, and markets.
- Drive brand awareness and contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies through the creation of programs, concepts, presentations, and communication formats, resulting in increased traffic in stores and online, and driving sales.
- Oversee and manage projects from start to finish to enhance brand management processes with a strong link to digital.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams (Innovations, Supply Chain, Retail, Wholesale) and external partners, managing expectations and convincing stakeholders of necessary changes.
- As a member of the Management Team, help develop, coach, train, and motivate colleagues. Strategically manage larger projects such as product launches, market entries, and campaigns.
- Proactively seek and implement improvements and opportunities to enhance the marketing, eCommerce, and store design teams, ensuring a unified way of working within team operations.
Requirements:
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in retail marketing, with a strong background in the retail or luxury sector.
- Experience within the Middle East or a deep understanding of Middle East consumer behaviour.
- Expertise in retail, with a strong conceptual understanding of product and visual merchandising (VM).
- Open communication and a can-do approach.
- Inspiring leadership style.
- Strong analytical and creative skills.
- Commercial insight, assertiveness, proactivity, flexibility, accuracy, and stress resistance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is highly preferred.
