Quantity Surveyor.

Aspire Middle East is partnering with a bold and innovative creative events and experiential marketing agency based in Dubai. Known for pushing boundaries in event design, brand activations, and immersive marketing experiences, this agency operates across the GCC.

Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to lead cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement for event productions, exhibitions, and temporary structures. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in cost control, contract administration, and supplier management within the events or exhibition industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and logistics to ensure projects stay within budget
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure the best value and quality
• Draft and review supplier/subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with project goals and specifications
• Monitor expenditures, track variations, and deliver regular financial updates to internal teams
• Propose cost-effective alternatives while maintaining high-quality output
• Evaluate financial risks and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and industry standards
• Liaise with project managers, designers, and finance teams to align creative and operational objectives
• Conduct post-project financial reconciliations and ensure accurate cost reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in events, exhibitions, or fit-out projects
• Strong understanding of cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation in the UAE market
• Proficiency in Excel, CostX, AutoCAD, or similar cost management tools
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Familiarity with UAE supplier networks and procurement regulations
• Previous experience in event production, exhibition stand building, or scenic construction
• Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and temporary event logistics
• UAE Driving License is a plus
