Here's an exceptional opportunity to join a global organiser renowned for producing leading world-class events. As Conference Manager, you'll play a vital role in building key relationships to feed sales and marketing campaigns while maintaining a high level of conference content.
Key Accountabilities:
- Liaising with Conference Chair/s and Governing Body members.
- Conducting telephone and in-person research with potential attendees in the target market to develop programme agendas.
- Recruiting highly-esteemed leading experts, industry representatives, regulators, government representatives, and other relevant speakers to your programme faculty.
- Researching and providing strategic information required to market and sell conferences to the marketing and sales functions.
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure delivery of a first-class on-site conference experience for attendees.
- Travelling nationally and internationally to conferences and on-site project and team management to ensure the successful, high-quality delivery of customer services and the event experience to delegates.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:
- Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Proven experience in conference production and management.
- 4-5 years of experience of proven experience in effectively managing a successful conference portfolio.
- Job-Specific Skills: Excellent networking and information gathering abilities, engaging, professional, and diplomatic demeanour, and comfortable conducting regular telephone calls and meetings with industry figures.
- Behavioural Competencies: Self-disciplined, a problem-solver, resilient and an agile learner.
