A well-established Jewish community-focused media and events organisation is looking for a Jewish Events Manager to take full ownership of its events programme.

This is a new, standalone role for someone who wants to run events end to end and shape the programme from the ground up. You'll manage everything from concept and logistics through to marketing, delivery, and post-event reporting. There is no existing events team, but there is scope to grow the function over time.

Currently, events are focused on the Jewish community, with the opportunity to expand into wider UK audiences.

🌟 What you'll be doing

• 📅 Planning and delivering in-person, virtual, and hybrid events

• ⚙️ Managing event operations, logistics, suppliers, and budgets

• ✍️ Creating event content and working with internal teams on promotion

• 🎤 Coordinating speakers, stakeholders, and run-of-show schedules

• 🎯 Delivering high-quality attendee experiences and analysing performance

✅ What we're looking for

• 🎟 Proven experience in events management or coordination

• 🤝 Comfortable working independently in a standalone role

• 📋 Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills

• 🌐 Experience with community, cultural, media, or audience-led events

• ⏰ Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends

⚠️ Important to know

• ✡️ This organisation operates within a Jewish cultural context and serves a predominantly Jewish audience. While candidates do not need to be Jewish, they should be culturally aware and respectful of the organisation's identity.

• 👍 Must be comfortable working within a pro-Israel, Jewish organisational environment

• 🏢 4 days per week in the office (Mon-Thu) - no flexibility

💷 Salary: £34,000 per annum (with some scope for the right candidate; higher levels not currently approved)
