Head of Marketing.

We have an exciting new Head of Marketing role. This position will be held until January 2024. If you have the desire to bring exhibitions and events to live, then this is the role for you!

Our exciting and well-know B2B Exhibition client in the energy sector work on some incredible exhibitions and unforgettable experiences. They host inspiring events of all scale and have produced events for well known clients and brands.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with event exhibition sales and sponsorship team, conference production team and the delegate sales team to generate leads and conversions.
• Work with other department heads across functions such as technology or data that sit outside of the core events team
• Within the events team you must manage your generalist team and work with digital and content specialists to deliver campaigns through all marketing channels.
• Take care of all email campaign management including copy-writing, proofing, scheduling and analysing

Requirements

• At least 5 year's demonstrable experience at management level in events and/ or B2B media
• Degree educated/ MBA desirable
• Detailed knowledge of marketing best practice.
• Knowledge of B2B exhibition and B2B publishing market
• Understanding of data protection issues
• Experience of developing an online strategy
• Anticipation of market trends and proactive market involvement
• Ability to travel into London office 4 days a week
