Are you an experienced Marketing Manager seeking a new challenge? We have an exceptional opportunity for you to join our prestigious events organization based in Dubai. As the Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy for an event within our energy portfolio.
You will be responsible for developing effective marketing strategies to drive delegate sales, exhibition/sponsorship sales, and visitor attendance. We are seeking a candidate with excellent multitasking and project management skills, a keen eye for detail and creativity, as well as independent, analytical, and innovative thinking for both individual and team projects.
- Create and implement an integrated marketing campaign for the entire exhibition, covering exhibitor, delegate, and visitor campaigns.
- Develop a marketing plan for lead generation, working closely with the team to optimize marketing for each aspect of the event.
- Forecast and monitor the budget, marketing timeline, and media plan, producing a critical path analysis aligned with event targets.
- Utilize all marketing channels to generate leads, ensuring effective utilization of the allocated marketing budget.
- Build an effective marketing campaign structure across various channels, maximizing lead generation within budget constraints.
- Manage the cleanliness, verification, and expansion of the show database for mass and targeted marketing purposes.
- Negotiate barter agreements with media partners and associations to expand the event's reach through partner marketing channels.
- Ensure the event website is up to date with the latest information and manage the integration of third-party modules.
- Utilize and manage digital tools, such as mobile apps and survey tools, to enhance marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate the design, production, and distribution of all marketing collateral, including brochures, tickets, postcards, reports, and advertisements.
- Manage PPC campaigns, reviewing results and making recommendations to drive traffic to event websites and landing pages.
- Provide onsite support to ensure the smooth running of marketing-related activities during the event.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:
- Marketing qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in mid-manager level marketing.
- Strong strategic thinking and critical path analysis skills.
- Experience using databases for mass and targeted direct marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing the production of mobile apps and online registration systems.
- Strong understanding of website user experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience using an email service provider (ESP) and setting up HTML and plain text emails.
