We at Aspire Middle East are hiring an Account Manager for a leading creative events agency based in Dubai.
This Account Manager role is ideal for someone with a strong background in B2B sales, business development, and client servicing within the events, exhibitions industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, pitching event solutions to corporate clients, agencies, and brands.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent service and repeat business.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and run sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Proposal & Pitching: Prepare compelling sales proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies to win client contracts.
- RFP & Tender Submissions: Lead the preparation of proposals for competitive RFPs and tender submissions.
- Market Research & Networking: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to position the company competitively.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Close deals, negotiate pricing, and manage contract terms to ensure profitable partnerships.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the creative, production, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution aligned with client expectations.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, maintain accurate reports, and provide regular updates on pipeline progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development in the events, exhibitions, or experiential marketing industry.
- Experienced in consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong networking skills and established relationships within the UAE market.
- Experience working on RFPs, proposals, and pitch presentations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a busy, on-time environment.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- UAE market experience and a valid UAE driving license are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of event logistics, operations, and production processes.
- Strong understanding of digital and experiential marketing trends.
